In the third quarter of 2024, the business app landscape in Hungary showcased diverse trends across the top five applications on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at their performance:

MVM Next saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting strong with about 15.7K in early July and peaking at 30K mid-month. However, numbers gradually decreased to approximately 9K by the end of September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, maintaining a range between 44K and 53K throughout the quarter.

The MVM Next EnergiApp (volt ELMŰ) experienced a decline in weekly downloads from over 9K at the start of July to just above 3K by September's end. Despite this, the app's active user base showed resilience, fluctuating between 72K and 90K, with a noticeable rebound to 74K in the final weeks.

Packeta maintained a consistent level of engagement, with weekly downloads ranging from 8.8K to 16.7K. Active user numbers mirrored this steadiness, starting at 47K and gradually decreasing to around 32K by the end of the quarter.

Microsoft Teams displayed a surge in popularity, particularly in September, when downloads soared to over 14K. Active users also increased significantly, starting at approximately 63K and reaching a peak of nearly 116K by the quarter's close.

Lastly, Microsoft Authenticator recorded a steady rise in downloads, peaking at 15.8K in early September. The app's active user base remained robust, consistently exceeding 100K, with a slight dip in August.
